RAHANA- Branch 101 of Qom General Court has summoned Abdullah Ramezanzadeh based on the compliant filed by Mohammad Reza Rahimi.
According to Kaleme portal, this file is related to Ramzenzadeh’s statement made during his speech at Qom Seminary Teachers Convention 2 years ago when he had reportedly said that “Some people want to run the country based on lies.”
Abdollah Ramzenzadeh was arrested on June 13, 2009 one day after the presidential electionsand spent most of his detention period in Evin prison.
Before being appointed as the spokesman of ex-president Mohammad Khatami’s second government, Ramezanzadeh had served as the governor of Kurdistan Province from 1997 to 2001, a position which, formerly, had belonged to Mohamma Reza Rahimi. Ramezanzadeh had submitted a file of Rahimi’s law violations during his service as Kurdistan governor to Hojjatol Elsam Raeisi, former head of the General Inspection Office (GIO). Since that incident, Rahimi has filed several complaints against Ramezanzadeh for various reasons.
