RAANA- Azam Vismeh, a journalist who had been detained since 1 June 2010, was released on $70,000 bail on Wednesday July 21.

Azam Vismeh is a reformist parliamentary correspondent who has worked with several reformist publications including Parleman News, the official news portal of Imam Path Fraction.

Azam Vistem was arrested at her house on midnight of 30 June 2010 by security agents carrying an arrest warrant from the Prosecutor office. During her detention in Evin prison, Vismeh was allowed to have only one prison visit with her family.
