RAHANA: The 28^th branch of the Revolutionary Court had sentenced Massoud Babapour to 2 years in prison and the appeals upheld the sentence.

According to the Committee for Human Rights Reporters, Babapour is an industrial engineering student at Garmsar Azad University and has been in detention since November 27, 2009.

In the recent days, the prison sentences of several other student activists such as Arsalan Abadi, Bahareh Hedayat, Milad Asadi, Peyman Aref and Mahdieh Golrou has been upheld.
